Newtown Square, PA  May 10 2001 – ABT, Inc. today announced that Capella University, an accredited institution of higher education that provides undergraduate and graduate degree programs over the Internet, has selected ABT PowerCAMPUS for its administrative information management solution Torrent search engine.  Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (NCA) and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Capella University has some 5,000 “learners” enrolled in over 400 online courses and undergraduate and graduate degree programs in 40 areas of specialization.

According to the terms of the agreement, Capella University will license the entire suite of ABT PowerCAMPUS software — including modules for Admissions, Student Records, Billing, Cash Receipts and Advancement – twitter backgrounds – as well as ABT’s IQ.Web Internet software.  ABT will also provide professional services, teaming with Capella’s Information Service staff to tailor the implementation to support the University’s unique Web-centric business processes. Sensitivity to your needs.  We do have visionary people and technology. SCT PowerCAMPUS was the first to offer network architecture to the higher-education market beginning in 1984.  Networking was not easy to sell in the 80’s.  Not everyone saw the potential ABT saw.  We are pioneers.   We have learned a great deal about networking, database systems, and what it takes to make applications work.
