Hood College Selects ABT to Provide and Support its New Integrated Administrative and Academic Information System
Newtown Square, PA January 7, 2002 – ABT, Inc. today announced that Hood College, Frederick, Maryland, has selected ABT to replace their existing Jenzabar POISE information system with an integrated ABT PowerCAMPUS administrative- and academic-information solution. In addition to its own PowerCAMPUS and IQ.Web software products, ABT will also implement and support Microsoft Great Plains eEnterprise financial- and human-resource applications for Hood College.
“We chose ABT in order to empower our entire campus community with current generation tools at a very favorable price-performance ratio,” notes Cornelius R. Fay III, Chief Technology Officer, Hood College. “Using their solution, we can leverage existing employee skill sets in well-understood and widely adopted technologies at a price point very attractive to smaller colleges and universities. ABT’s partnering philosophy allows Hood to employ a best-of-breed strategy in an integrated package, something not commonly found today.”
ABT PowerCAMPUS modules licensed by Hood College include Admissions, Student Records, Student Billing, Cash Receipts, Vista Views and Reports, and Master Scheduler, as well as the IQ.Web Internet portal. TeamABT Professional Services and Hood staff members will begin implementation of the integrated ABT solution this month.
